Thanksgiving and Turkey Battle
Three Turkeys. Three Chefs. Three Methods:
The "Salt, don't Brine" oven herb method, by GG:
The Rotisserie/Herb/Secret method by Papa:
And the Canjun Deep fried method by me:
All of us chefs with our birds:
Judgment finally came in, and the winner:
GG's turkey was simply the most moist! It was really delicious, and I think we were all good sports. I was slightly dissappointed in the deep fry method as it was good, but not obviously awesome. If I did it again I would use a smaller bird and a lot more cajun injection.
The family over at GG's and Papa's for Thanksgiving:

Okay, you got it!

Well, we probably lost a lot of our "viewership" by now, since we moved within socializing distance to many of you, and we can now see a lot of you on a regular basis! Even so we do have this blog which is nice for us also to keep track of things, and even though NO ONE has given any comments or feedback for the last two posts, here I am again and this time armed with video. Let's see how it goes:
So that's Julien on his car/walker thing, HOT OFF THE PRESS this was yesterday, no sorry Sunday and this is only his second run at it. Here he is again:
Love you all and hope you are having a good summer!!!

The last few weeks in too few photos.
Here is the house when we saw it in February.
Awesome furniture, but we couldn't wait around for it to be in style again...
The kitchen, a project for the future. Oven, dishwasher apparently never used.
The Lion Head, specifically mentioned/described in the contract of sale. Seller broke our contract on this point, clearly indicating the enormous disguised worth of this piece by making it disappear before settlement. Pursuit of legal action being considered.
Bathroom, with Jacuzzi tub, which works, and is awesome. A bit of snow in February, 'round back.
The movers starting to pack up our things in Paris
The movers had an elevator thing they used to transport all our stuff to the ground floor
This part was scary, our valuable things suspended in air 50 feet above ground. While moving, Jingle had some mishaps and adventures at the Philadelphia Airport. After the escaped prisoner was caught, he needed a bath (four really in the end - three by the vet) to get all the tar and jet fuel off of him.
Jingle, probably cleaner than he has ever been in his whole life (seriously), relaxing at the hotel in Exton.Jackie had a birthday! 92 years!
Juju looking more grown up. Not in pajamas!
Lazy cats in the Residence Inn.
Marissa and James got married!
"Ew, bird! Birds poop. Poop on people."
Julien being cute again.
Enjoying baths quite a bit more than he used to!
The Souras came for a visit! Charlotte and Julien hit it off well.
We had a mother's day, too!
New house, taken today! We haven't done anything to the outside except change the weather
Red phone? No, we have a YELLOW phone.
Jingle is chic and cool, blending with some of our new furniture.
And how cute is this baby boy!?
